This is a new story for me (August 2025); it was fun to build. I created the frame utilizing the dimensions of the commercial story. I then created the books in various thicknesses, 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, 2” for the Psalter. I discovered after I finished the bookcase that the books, including the Apocrypha, would not all fit. Doh! So, this version uses just ½” and ¾” Baltic Birch for the books. Next time, I will make the books first and size the case appropriately!

The case carcass is ¾” Baltic Birch, the styles on the side are Walnut, and the top is White Oak. I really like the combination.
